When I first started my company, I incorporated rock climbing and theatre improv into my training sessions, because I enjoyed rock climbing and acting. It was fun. But I didn't get much time to climb or act during my sessions, as I had to stick to my job -- facilitating.
I enjoy facilitating. And I think my training sessions can be more fulfilling if I actually get the chance to do the phyiscal activities that I enjoy doing in my training sessions. For this reason, I am preparing to launch a series of "Mind and Body" sessions.
A "Mind and Body" session begins with interactive physical activities, then moves to a training subject from one of my company's training programs, and finishes with a meditative pilate and yoga movements. So I get the chance to do all those physical activities and movements, and the facilitation!
I have already started teaching yoga to a student, as a preparation to launch the "Mind and Body" series. After my first yoga session, I felt good about the experience. I knew it was a success. |
